A quote builder allows you to present product options without requiring immediate payment. Here’s how to set one up using the form builder.
1. Create Products:
- Go to Payments > Products and create all the products you want to include.
- Refer to the product setup documentation for step-by-step instructions.
2. Add a Purchase Element to the Form:
- Drag the Purchase Element onto your form canvas.
3. Change the Purchase Mode to Quote:
- In the top left of the form settings, click the “Sell Products” dropdown.
- Change the option to “Give Quote”.
4. Add All Products to the Form:
- Use the product dropdown to add all relevant products, including available options and variations.
5. Add Contact Fields:
- Since the credit card field is removed, manually add:
- First Name
- Last Name
- Email
- First Name
- These fields are essential for follow-up.
6. Optional – Use a Multi-Step Form:
- For better structure, consider using a Multi-Step Form.
- Page 1: Collect contact details.
- Page 2: Show the quote builder (product selection).
- Page 1: Collect contact details.
- This ensures contact info is submitted before quoting.
Customers or team members can now select various products and generate a quote without requiring payment on the form.
