To connect your domain with the system, follow these steps:
1. Open the Domain Panel #
- Navigate to the domain panel by clicking on “Sites” in the left-side menu.
- Once the page is open, you’ll see a link to “Connected Domains” at the top of the page. Click on that.
2. Add Your Domain #
- Click on the ‘Add Domain’ button to add your domain to the system.
3. Select Domain Type #
- The system will offer you the option to add either a free domain or a custom domain.
- For a custom domain, select the second option and enter your domain name.
Difference between Free Domain and Custom Domain: #
- Free Domain: Provided by the system, often with limited customization options.
- Custom Domain: You can use a domain you own, offering full customization and control.
- Once selected, click on the ‘Next’ button.
4. Select Services #
- By default, Website Hosting will be enabled for your domain.
- If you also need Email Service, click the checkbox for the second tab and add the email address you want to integrate for email services.
- Enabling email services will not affect your existing email services.
- After selecting the services, click on ‘Next’.
5. Choose a Faster CDN (Optional) #
- The system will offer you the option to choose a faster CDN for a better user experience at $5/month.
- If you don’t need the CDN, click on the ‘No, Thank You’ button.
6. Collect DNS Records #
- Wait for a moment, and the system will provide you with the necessary DNS records to add to your domain registrar.
