Templates are a quick way to set up AI Employees with ready-made conversation flows tailored to common use cases. This guide will walk you through how to create an AI Employee using a template—even if it’s your first time using Glide Campaign.
1. Open the AI Employee Section #
- Click “AI Employee” from the left-hand sidebar.
- Select Skip/Manual setup on the lower left corner.
- Follow the on-screen prompts (you’ll be asked to enter your Industry and Company Name
2. Start the AI Employee Setup #
- If this is your first AI Employee, the setup process will start automatically.
- If you’ve already created one:
- Click “+ AI Employee” in the top right corner.
- The setup window will appear so you can start creating a new one.
- Click “+ AI Employee” in the top right corner.
3. Choose a Template #
- You’ll see a list of templates built for different industries and purposes.
- Select the one that most closely matches your use case.
- Templates help you get started faster with pre-filled conversation stages and logic.
4. Customize After Setup #
- Once your AI Employee is created:
- Review each conversation stage.
- Adjust the instructions to suit your specific goals.
- Rename stages to match your workflow.

- Use the Test Chat feature to test how your AI Employee responds at each stage.
