Canned responses help you quickly reuse common replies when chatting with users. Here’s how to create one:
- Open the chat dashboard
- Go to the ‘Chat’ menu from the left-hand sidebar.
- Open the canned response settings
On the top menu, select ‘Canned Responses’ from the dropdown.
- Create your canned message
- Click ‘Add Canned Response’.
- Add a short code as a title to remember the details canned responses (e.g signature, welcome message) and enter the message content.
- Use your canned message in chat
- When replying in chat, type / to view all canned responses.
- Type /shortcode ( in this case, it is / welcome ) to insert the message you saved.
