1. Open Your Website in a Mobile Browser #
- Launch a mobile browser like Chrome (Android) or Safari (iPhone).
- Navigate to your website URL.
2. Open the Share Menu #
- Once the site is fully loaded, tap the “Share” icon:
- On iPhone (Safari), it’s a square with an arrow pointing up.
- On Android (Chrome), it’s usually three vertical dots in the top-right corner.
- On iPhone (Safari), it’s a square with an arrow pointing up.
3. Add to Home Screen #
- From the menu, select “Add to Home Screen.”
4. Name the Shortcut #
- A prompt will appear to rename the shortcut.
- Enter a short, clear name for the app icon.
5. Confirm and Add #
- Tap “Add” to place the shortcut on your home screen.
6. Access Like an App #
- Tap the icon to open your site in full-screen mode, just like an app.
