Steps to Connect the Domain with Your System #
1. Open the Domain Panel #
- Click on “Sites” from the left-hand menu.
- At the top of the page, click “Connected Domains.”
- Then, click on the ‘Add Domain’ button.
2. Select Domain Type #
- Choose between a free domain or a custom domain.
- Select the custom domain, then enter your domain name.
- Click ‘Next’.
3. Select Services #
- By default, Website Hosting will be enabled.
When to use Email Sending: #
- If you need the Email Service, check the second box and enter the email address you want to use.
- Note: Enabling email services will not affect your existing email provider.
- Click ‘Next’.
4. Choose a Faster CDN (Optional) #
- You’ll be asked if you want to enable a faster CDN for $5/month.
- If not, click “No, Thank You.”
5. Collect DNS Records #
- Wait a moment while the system generates DNS records.
- These records need to be added to your SiteGround account (or your registrar).
Separating DNS Records #
DNS Records for Web Hosting #
- The first two records are for web hosting.
- The first is an A Record.
DNS Records for Email Service #
- The last three are for email services.
- All are CNAME Records.
If you only need one service, you can skip the others.
Steps to Add DNS Records to Your Google Domain Account #
1. Select Domain #
- Log in to Google Domains.
- Click ‘DNS’ in the left menu.
- Under ‘Default name servers (Active)’, scroll down to manage DNS records.
2. Create a New Record #
- Click on ‘Create New Record’.
3. Select Record Type and Add Details #
‘A’ Record Format #
- Host name: (leave blank)
- Type: A
- TTL: 3600
- Data: 185.93.1.243
- Click ‘Create’ to save.
‘CNAME’ Record Format #
Click ‘Create’ to save.

Type: CNAME
TTL: 3600
