You can import bulk contacts or leads into your system by using simple steps.
Follow the below steps for bulk import:
STEP 1: UPLOAD THE FILE #
Upload your Contacts as CSV #
1. Go to Contacts
2. Click Import on the top right side of the page
3. You can download a sample by clicking on Download Example CSV File Headers
4. Drag and Drop a file or click to upload your data file
5. Choose your option from dropdowns (What Do You Want To Upload?)
6. Click on Upload File
STEP 2: FIELD MAPPING #
Map CSV file fields to contact fields #
1. Choose your Opt-In Status
2. Contact Duplication Rule
-Match by Email
By selecting this option your uploaded contacts will match with existing contacts in the system by using email columns. And if the email matches it means contact is already in the system and new contact from your uploaded file will not be processed.
-Match By Phone Number
By selecting this option your uploaded contacts will match with existing Phone Numbers in the system by using the Phone Number column. And if the Phone Number matched, it means the contact is already in the system and new contact from your uploaded file will not be processed.
-Match by Email or Phone Number
If you choose this option, our system will match your uploaded contacts with the existing ones using the Email or Phone Number column. If the phone number or email of one of them matches, it means the contact is already in the system. So the new contact from your uploaded file won’t be processed.
-Match by Email and Phone Number
If you choose this option, our system will compare your uploaded contacts with those already in our database using the email and phone number columns. And if the Phone Number and Email of them are matched, it means the contact is already in the system and new contact from your uploaded file will not be processed.
-No match, create new leads
Choosing this option means that your uploaded contacts will create new contacts, rather than matching with existing ones. There may be duplicates if contacts are already in the system.
Map the fields in your file to system fields. #
Map your fields according to the data in your uploaded file:
Once fields are mapped, click on Submit.
Your file will be starting uploading and will take load time according to the number of rows.
