Pipelines give you a visual representation of data moving through different stages, which is helpful for managing workflows like sales, onboarding, or support.
Pipeline Structure #
A pipeline is made up of the following parts:
- Lanes or Columns
These represent the different stages in your workflow. For example: New Lead, Contacted, Proposal Sent, Closed Won. - Pipeline Cards or Items
These are individual entries or tasks inside each lane. For example, each card could be a potential customer or task moving through your pipeline.

Pipelines help you stay organized by allowing you to move items from one stage to the next visually just like dragging sticky notes on a board.
Pipelines can be used for tasks or for leads and sales.
