Call flows help you automate and manage incoming phone calls effectively. You can design the experience for callers using the flow builder and assign flows to your phone numbers. Follow the steps below to create and connect a call flow.
Steps to Create a Call Flow #
- Create a Flow
- Navigate to the flow builder by clicking “Automations” on the left-side menu.
- On the flow page, click the “Create Automation” button.
- Click on ‘Add New Workflow Trigger’ which would bring out a popup menu
- Search for “Incoming Call” under Workflow trigger type, then select add trigger
- Drag and Drop to Build the Flow
- Drag and drop elements onto the flow builder canvas to add your desired steps.
- Save the Flow
- After completing your design, click the “Save” button.
- Publish the Flow
- Set a name for your flow and publish it when prompted.
- Connect the Flow to a Number
a. Open the Phone Numbers Section
• Click “Phone” on the left-side menu.
• Then click the “Numbers” button on the top menu.
b. Edit the Phone Number
• Find your desired phone number and open it in Edit mode.
c. Connect the Flow
• In the “Send Inbound Phone Calls To” dropdown, select your created call flow.
d. Save the Process
• Click “Save” to apply your changes.
